At Subcon, we love getting a new bit of kit to play with and this week we’ve splashed out on a brand new TRUMPF 5030 Brightline Fiber. With this new machine we will be able to process our customers’ orders more efficiently while still bringing the high quality we are proud of.
Linzi, our Production Supervisor, talked to MTDCNC about the advantages of this new machine. She points to the new ability to cut to up to 40mm stainless steel and the drop and cut feature that makes it possible to cut straight away. This latest machine also has an iPad facility that allows the machinist to see what is happening inside the machine and control the processes more easily.
