- Handling material up to 4000mm x 2000mm.
Our laser cutting service is complemented by secondary operations and a range of finishes for aluminium sheet and plate. From bending and bevelling to deburring and welding, we provide a comprehensive service with which to complete your manufacturing project.
Aluminium Grades
Subcon Laser works with a variety of aluminium grades, as listed below. If you cannot see your grade listed, we are still able to source and cut it for you, and we encourage our customers to contact us with their preferred grade and requirements.
1000 series is the purest aluminium series, with an aluminium content of 99% as a minimum. Within this series, we offer both 1050 and 1200 grade, offering high corrosion resistance and thermal and electrical conductivity.
We also commonly work with grades 2014 and 3003, as well as the 5000 series and 6000 series.
Within the 5000 series, we handle both 5251 and 5083. The 5000 series is alloyed with magnesium, making it suitable for corrosive environments.
We further handle grade 6082 within the 6000 series. This grade offers increased strength, ensuring performance in structural applications and corrosion resistance in outdoor spaces.
Finishes
Aluminium can be finished with anodising, polishing, and powder coating amongst other finishes, if required by your project.
Whether polishing or powder coating to enhance aesthetic appeal, or anodising to achieve greater protection, Subcon Laser ensures that your aluminium parts are correctly prepared for their application.
